The growth of ULI’s Global Partnerships program in fiscal year 2019 reflects a goal of the Institute’s Global Strategic Plan to strengthen engagement by Corporate Members who are integral to the expansion of ULI’s reach and the advancement of the Institute’s mission worldwide. The program now includes nine Global Partners contributing to ULI’s vast repository of industry expertise, including Allianz, Benoy, Greenberg Traurig, Gensler, Tishman Speyer, Avison Young, KKR, AXA IM, and UBS.
The Global Partnerships program is exclusively available to a select group of Corporate Members who are globally active across the Institute, highly engaged, mission aligned, and want to elevate their activity to a strategically aligned partnership. The program offers a corporate account management approach that is high-touch and seamless in delivery of entitlements, and aligns partners’ vision and strategies with ULI engagement opportunities around the world, including the following: participation on mission-focused activities such as UrbanPlan and Advisory Services panels; content development and knowledge sharing; and access to member networks such as product councils, the Women’s Leadership Initiative, Young Leaders Group, and NEXT.
In addition to the Global Partnerships program, regional Corporate Partnerships programs in Europe and the Asia Pacific region continued to flourish in FY 2019, with the partners contributing thought leadership, sponsorships, and other support to meetings, services, and programs in both regions. Corporate Partners in the Asia Pacific region include Shui On Land, Mirvac, Gaw Capital, HKS, and Capitaland; in Europe, Corporate Partners include Greenberg Traurig, Benoy, AXA Real Estate Investment Managers, Immobel, and ECE Projektmanagement. The Corporate Partnerships programs in both regions helped inform the creation of a Corporate Partnerships Program in the Americas, which includes Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Hart Howerton, and Allen Matkins as participants.
